The project “InKult” - “Network for the Valorisation of Intangible Cultural Heritage” aims to establish such a network of seven municipalities and regions from four countries, to raise the awareness of their rich cultural resources and commonly develop strategies for their preservation and valorisation.
In eleven international events in the partners' locations, people involved in different cultural expressions - such as crafts, regional food, music, spirituality and tourism - meet, learn about the partners' traditional customs and practices, discuss their ideas, find new approaches to the issue and step by step develop a common strategy for the valorisation of intangible cultural heritage. Furthermore, the relationship between the participating regions and municipalities will be strengthened, establishing the former mentioned network, an alliance of regions and municipalities, fostering the valorisation of their intangible cultural resources. The experience and strategic approach, as well as the network itself, will be accessible for all actors in intangible cultural heritage in Europe, thus contribute to a sustainable cultural development of unique regions in Europe.
